Kuon Ganjo - Time Without Beginning
Legendary Drummer Mike Clark with Eddie Henderson (Blue Note) on trumpet, Essiet Okon Essiet on bass, Craig Handy (Herbie Hancock) on tenor saxophone and esteemed artist Patrice Rushen on piano and Rhodes. Following the critical and chart success of “Itai Doshin’ (Jazzweek Top 40 seven months) is Mike Clark’s third release for Wide Hive, ‘Kuon Ganjo’; a masterpiece recording that has an uptempo East Coast energy that is Mike’s forte.
Kuon Ganjo is nine new recordings, three original works and outstanding covers of Sonny Rollins East Broadway Rundown and Toys by Herbie as well as reimagined classics Softly as in a Morning Sunrise and Beauty and the Beast.
