Kamasi Washington

Kamasi Washington is featured Saxophonist on all four of Throttle Elevator Music's albums and also on Phil Ranelin's album Perseverance. Kamasi's sound beckons comparison to Rahsaan Roland Kirk and Cannonball Adderley and his versatility of tone crosses genres from jazz to funk. He has recently toured with diverse and exceptional artists Stanley Clarke and Chaka Khan. Also as a composer Kamasi has scored several films including Stacey Peralta's recent Independent Lens feature: Crips and Bloods: Made In America.
