 Matt Montgomery plays bass on numerous Wide Hive projects, including all Variable Unit releases and this year's upcoming Dissent 3: Swap Meet Seers release. He also performs on the upcoming Vertical Clearance release due out next spring from Calvin Keys. Bassist Matt Montgomery's slapping stand up was raised with Bay Area roots. On Variable Unit's "Seven Grain," Matt delivers haunting, melodic grooves which perfectly compliment the foundation poured by Ron E. Beck. Matt's versatility on the upright bass provides an invaluable source of emotion for V.U.
