 Bleeding Together, named for the different genres it blends, takes a departure from jazz-funk and fuses electronica, world music, and down tempo, while maintaining an organic texture and raw energy. The cover art is a morphed composition of all the different musicians that played on the album. Over time, many players have blessed Wide Hive Studios, allowing for many new and alluring collaborations. Bleeding Together is an outcome of these different interactions with Gregory Howe. Out of this pool of talent arises the effortless vocal beauty of Nathalie Sanchez. Her vocal style, which is strung throughout the album, provides a soulful flavor for several deep worldly recipes. Kat Ouano from the hip-hop band Crown City Rockers (formerly Mission;) supplies her virtuosic keyboard skills on many standout tracks. Tim Hyland, known for his soloing on DJ Zeph's "Get This" and Dissent's "Corporate Voodoo," returns with his funky flute mastery, while new addition Lila Sklar adds her intricate violin bowing. This new batch of musicians combines with all together new influences to form a truly unique and original album.
